A 30-year-old man has become the country’s latest murder victim.
Police reports indicate that at about 9.15 pm yesterday, Selby Peters of lamp pole 11, McKenzie Drive, Point Cumana, Carenage was shot dead near his home.
His neighbours reported hearing loud explosions and when they checked, they found Peters lying motionless, face down in his driveway. He was shot about the body.
Corporals Bennette and Douglas are investigating.
